We’ve teamed up with our friends at @CapitalFactory to launch a new monthly event: Bitcoin Builders Club (@BTCBuildersClub).

Since early 2024, we’ve been exploring how to create a recurring event that truly fits Austin’s vibrant tech community where people gather day and night, online and IRL, for meetups, classes, and co-working. Capital Factory brings a deep network of investors, tech talent, and innovators. According to PitchBook, they’ve been the most active investor in Texas since 2010. That makes them the perfect partner for our mission: meeting and introducing Bitcoin to builders where they are.

Why a Builders Club?

Because every great Bitcoin product starts as someone’s weird obsession.

Every successful idea began as a GitHub repo no one noticed… until they did. Every strong founder was once uncertain—until they found their tribe.

As we shared in our last Pulse post, Bitcoin payments are no longer the main obstacle—they’ve become a foundational tool in every builder’s toolkit. The real challenge now is tougher: defining a clear path to sustainable revenue, then executing on it. Builders need a place to practice that in public, with peers who give real feedback.

What to Expect

• Austin-style hospitality. Homestyle food prepared by Chef Johnny Ochoa, cold drinks, and the kind of hallway conversations that turn ideas into roadmaps.

• Show, don’t tell. Demos, lightning talks, and open Q&A so builders can ship, learn, and iterate faster.

• High-signal connections. Meet devs, hackers, founders, and operators who are pushing the boundaries of Bitcoin, Lightning, and open-source tools.

• A culture of lift. We open the door to first-time founders. When someone shows up with a half-baked idea, we don’t roll our eyes we roll up our sleeves.
